How do I change my mind frame from mine to ours?  It's easy to be happy with his = mine but I get a little down about mine = his. 

Unless it is balanced out and preferably not in a split down the middle kind of way, I have a hard time.  I don't think that it is fair to split all of the bills down the middle but still have to do all of the household chores. 

The laundry is a huge time consumer, along with the cooking and cleaning that needs to be done daily and weekly.  

I am the modern housewife trying to avoid money problems in my relationship, I work my job and take care of all of the home chores, and I think that I should be taken into consideration when combining incomes. 

Call me crazy but my time is valuable too, I could be off making my $75.00 per hour but instead I am folding boxer briefs. 

You would think that I am pissed off about this situation!
 
I am aware that he is off on his mission to set us up for the future so that we can hire someone to do the things we would rather not do.

Because he cares so much about me and he works so hard at creating residual income for our family.  This saves us from a lot of emotional arguments.

He likes to say “We want money to work for us instead of us working for money”.

I understand this, and so I am a lot more comfortable with continuing my current state, holding the space for the day we can get a housecleaner in here, because I know he will never change!

This is how we work as a team, because if we don’t then we may end up working hard for the rest of our lives trying to split the things we both don’t like and still working for the things we don’t want to be working for.
