We are newly weds, one month married.  My husband and I have a lot in common, one of the reasons we decided to take the next step!

But we aren't perfect, especially when it comes to our perspectives about money.  From my perspective, he likes to save and invest into his business and doesn't like to spend money on things other than business expenses like, say, a weekend vacation.

I remember when we first got together I had to bribe him by making him lunches to take to work everyday to pay for some of the groceries, cause have you been to the grocery store lately?

Prices are high!

I can easily spend $200.00 plus a week to eat healthy and good.  Anyways, his bank account always has a minimum of $500.00 plus in the bank.  I on the other hand can be considered the spender of the family.

I like to make money and then invest it in myself!  I like to have my non-work time, including going on mini vacations, buying new clothing and eating out.  I do not carry a minimum in my bank account, I usually spend everything that I make and make whatever I need. Both of us our self employed and both of us split our household bills down the middle even though he makes more yearly than I do by about $20,000.

Part 2 of 2 is next.
